Provincie Flevoland

Flevoland has a fairly young tradition in attracting creative industry and the creative sectors. The province has a number of special sectors that could flourish when combined with the creative industry. This could be achieved by stimulating a wide range of crossover connections.

Networks
The principal engine for bundling in Flevoland is the Platform Regionale Innovatie en Technologie (RITP) (Regional Innovation and Technology Platform), which has representatives in commerce and industry, in the government, in knowledge institutions and in various intermediaries. The purpose of the platform is to stimulate knowledge and innovation with the ultimate aim of consolidating the production structure in Flevoland.

The Creative Industry Flevoland (Flevoland Creative Industry) initiative was launched in 2006. One of the components of the initiative is the creation of business networks and players in the creative industry, and the consolidation of cross-connections between the two. Ontwikkelingsmaatschappij Flevoland participates in and implements the projects.

Flevoland considers it important for regional creative and other entrepreneurs to meet. One of the aims of the CCAA project is to enable the exchange of knowledge and profiles between various local regions.
