It is essential to stimulate employment growth by, among other things, inviting companies to invest in Flevoland.

The main objectives of the Flevoland Development Agency include the stimulation of investment and economic growth (employment), the promotion of foreign direct investments, the stimulation of and participation in cooperation in the promotion of Flevoland and knowledge networks.

Special attention is paid to:

• Thematic business parks and centres;
• Project management and the realization of large and complicated projects;
• The economic promotion of Flevoland and international mergers and acquisitions;
• Financial participation in (start-up) companies.
